Identification and Marking
Marking: Pipes are marked with the manufacturer’s name, the standard number (BS 1387), the pipe class (light, medium, heavy), and the nominal diameter.
Galvanized Coating: The uniform zinc coating should be free from blemishes and should pass specific adhesion and corrosion resistance tests.
