Manufacturing Process:

Properties:

Corrosion Resistance: The zinc coating acts as a sacrificial layer, meaning it corrodes first before the steel underneath, providing protection against rust and corrosion.
Cost-Effective: Compared to hot-dip galvanized pipes, pre-galvanized pipes are usually less expensive due to the streamlined manufacturing process.

Applications:

Limitations:

Thickness of Coating: The zinc coating 30g/m2 on pre galvanized pipes is generally thinner compared to hot dip galvanized pipes 200g/m2, which can make them less durable in highly corrosive environments.
Cut Edges: When pre galvanized pipes are cut, the exposed edges are not coated with zinc, which can lead to rusting if not properly treated.
