Ternium (NYSE:TX) last announced its earnings results on Tuesday, October 30th. The basic materials company reported $2.49 earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter, topping the Zacks’ consensus estimate of $1.60 by $0.89. Ternium had a net margin of 11.58% and a return on equity of 21.81%. The firm had revenue of $2.90 billion for the quarter, compared to analyst estimates of $3.04 billion. During the same quarter last year, the business earned $0.99 earnings per share. Ternium’s revenue was up 14.5% compared to the same quarter last year. As a group, sell-side analysts expect that Ternium will post 6.89 earnings per share for the current fiscal year.

Clearly, commercializing a new catalyst of this type based strictly on isothermal data could have resulted in less than expected performance.

Very interesting, Jan.  I have had my suspicions that some of this tariff business might actually work, and that the overwhelming media "opinion" writes off every economic action Trump takes as being negative if not downright harmful to the U.S. economy and jobs.  It is actually quite thrilling to know that some people in Ohio, or anywhere in the Midwest actually, can go back to work.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for them in any case.

Box-End Wrenches. These are closed-end wrenches, typically with six or 12 points around the inside diameter of the jaws.
