Ternium (NYSE:TX) last released its earnings results on Tuesday, October 30th. The basic materials company reported $2.49 earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter, topping the Thomson Reuters’ consensus estimate of $1.60 by $0.89. Ternium had a net margin of 11.58% and a return on equity of 21.81%. The business had revenue of $2.90 billion for the quarter, compared to analysts’ expectations of $3.04 billion. During the same period last year, the company earned $0.99 earnings per share. The company’s quarterly revenue was up 14.5% on a year-over-year basis. As a group, analysts forecast that Ternium SA will post 6.89 EPS for the current year.
