All of that is work taken away from Wisconsin, home of Paul Ryan as I recall. Don't be surprised that the auto parts industry gets slapped with tariffs. Would that upset the auto makers? But of course. So what? It will push that work back into the US, no question. (The result for Canada would be acutely unpleasant, probably pushing the country in a recession and a 40-cent dollar).
