30 – The Federal Court of Appeal overturned Ottawa’s approval of the contentious Trans Mountain pipeline expansion. In a unanimous decision, the court said the National Energy Board’s review of the project was flawed and the federal government had failed to adequately consult with Indigenous stakeholders.
