18 – The career of one of Quebec’s most famous professional wrestling families came to an end when Jacques Rougeau, 58, wrestled with his three sons for the first and last time at Stade IGA in Montreal. 24 – Public health officials reported that with no new cases of E. coli connected to romaine lettuce detected since mid-November, the leafy green is probably safe to eat again. In the month before that, 29 people in Canada got sick from the bacteria in the lettuce, mostly in Quebec. A handful became ill in Ontario and New Brunswick, and three in British Columbia after travelling.
