In many cases I will add "(sarcasm intended)" after a post like this, but I thought it would be obvious in this case.  But, since you don't know me and I don't know you, I appreciate you giving me the benefit of the doubt that I might be able to afford ANY Berkshire stock.

29 – The first North Atlantic right whale calf of the winter season was spotted off the Florida coast heading north with its mother, a known resident of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said on Facebook that the two endangered whales were sighted near the mouth of the state’s St. Johns River.

7 – The Trudeau government announced new rules to make it tougher for federal prisoners serving lengthy sentences to be transferred to Indigenous healing lodges. The change followed a public outcry over the transfer of an Ontario woman, convicted in the 2009 murder of eight-year-old Tori Stafford of Woodstock, to a healing lodge in Saskatchewan from a traditional prison. Terry-Lynne McClintic was returned to prison after the changes were announced.

Allen Wrenches. Allen wrenches are steel bars, hexagonal in section, bent into L-shapes. The shorter length is called the head, the longer one the handle. Rives II, co-owner of Rives & Associates, a CPA firm in Lexington, began showing interest in acquiring ownership of Steel Tube Inc., a carbon steel and galvanized steel tube manufacturer in Statesville. By January of 2015, Rives had struck a deal with Steel Tube’s then 50 percent shareholder Walter L. Lazenby Jr. to purchase his half of the company. The other half of Steel Tube belonged to W. Avalon Potts.
