Fitting pipa beralurmencakup dua kategori produk utama:
Fitting yang berfungsi sebagai segel penghubung meliputi kopling kaku, kopling fleksibel, tee mekanis, dan flensa beralur.
Fitting yang berfungsi sebagai sambungan transisi meliputi siku, tee, silang, pereduksi, flensa buta, dan lain-lain.
Fitting beralur yang berfungsi sebagai segel penghubung terutama terdiri dari tiga komponen: gasket karet penyegel, rumah kopling, dan baut pengunci. Gasket karet, yang terletak di dalam, ditempatkan di bagian luar pipa yang akan dihubungkan dan sejajar dengan pipa yang telah diberi alur. Rumah kopling kemudian diamankan di sekitar bagian luar gasket karet, dan akhirnya dikencangkan dengan dua baut. Karena desain gasket karet dan kopling yang unik, fitting beralur memiliki sifat penyegelan yang sangat baik. Seiring meningkatnya tekanan fluida di dalam pipa, kemampuan penyegelan sambungan beralur juga meningkat.
Sambungan pipa beralur, sebagai metode penyambungan pipa yang canggih, dapat digunakan baik pada aplikasi yang terbuka maupun tersembunyi, dan mencakup sambungan kaku dan fleksibel. Oleh karena itu, metode ini memiliki berbagai macam aplikasi:
Menurut klasifikasi sistem: Dapat digunakan dalam sistem air pemadam kebakaran, sistem air panas dan dingin pendingin udara, sistem pasokan air, sistem pipa petrokimia, sistem pipa pembangkit listrik termal dan militer, sistem pipa pengolahan limbah, dll.
Berdasarkan klasifikasi material pipa: Dapat digunakan untuk menyambungkan pipa baja, pipa tembaga, pipa baja tahan karat, pipa baja berlapis plastik, pipa besi cor ulet, pipa plastik berdinding tebal, serta selang dan fitting katup dengan sambungan pipa baja dan sambungan flensa.
